Denise Uwase was born in 2008 and Her mother passed away from HIV/AIDS when she was 9 years old, and she did not know her father. Theresa Kampiire (the mother of Adeline Irasubiza, another child in our program) adopted her into her family and took care of her. Theresa helped find her relatives and she currently lives in Kicuciro with her paternal aunt and older half brother. Denise's favorite subject is Science. She enjoys reading and playing computer games. Her dream is to become a doctor.
